The United Nations Soccer Club in Asia and Gulf region was established since 01 July 2009 with the appointment of Mr. Abdullah Hassan Abdullah as the Regional Representative of UNSC in the Region.
Mr. Abdullah bring his extensive knowledge of the region and experience in managing sport programs both at a national and International level as a former Team-Manager of the united Arab Emirates National Football Team, Youth development and Training Officer of UAE National Football Association as well as FIFA Coaching Instructor, prominent member of the International Council for Coach Education (ICCE).
Early in 2011, Mr. Abdullah successfully organized a fundraising soccer tournament to raise funds to help the victims of the earthquake in japan which had a great success and was well appreciated both by local United Arab Emirates authorities and the UAE football Federation.
Mr. Abdullah is currently working on several original sport for development and peace activities and projects covering the entire Gulf region and Asia from the United Arab Emirates which will have a considerable impact in that region's ability to meet the MDG objectives by their 2015 deadlines.
